Fat signal intensity lesion (1.7 x 1.7 x 1.2 cm) in the quadrigeminal cistern showing blooming artifact in T2* GRE sequence. No features of obstruction to cause hydrocephalus.
No other gross abnormality in the cranial fossa.
Case Discussion
Quadrigeminal cistern lipoma is a known entity.
It follows the signal of fat in all sequences and shows blooming artifact on GRE/SWI sequences.
