Presentation

Head trauma.

Patient Data

Age: 30 years
Gender: Male

2.1cm curvilinear focus of fat in the right side of the quadrigeminal cistern.

The remainder of the intracranial appearances are normal.

Case Discussion

Lipomas, as in other sites in the body, are common incidental findings.

Pericallosal and quadrigeminal cistern lipomas are two of the more commonly identified intracranial lipomas.
