A well-defined lesion in the median and right paramedian region of the quadrigeminal cistern of high signal on T1, T2 and FLAIR, attenuated on axial T1 fat sat sequence with blooming artifact on GE sequence. No enhancement was seen on postcontrast T1 fat sat. There is a mass effect on the tectal plate and aqueduct of Sylvius with moderate dilatation of the 3rd and lateral ventricles (moderate obstructive hydrocephalus).
Case Discussion
MRI features of a quadrigeminal cistern lipoma compressing the aqueduct of Sylvius with moderate obstructive hydrocephalus.
