Focal bowing of the radius in the mid-diaphysis. Associated bowing of the proximal ulna in a plane perpendicular to the radial bow. Radial head is in joint.

Bowing fractures are one of the incomplete fractures that most frequently occur in children, often in the forearm. They usually coexist with a fracture of the other paired bone, but sometimes occurs in isolation.
