Case Discussion

Radial head fracture is considered type I according to Mason classification and can be treated conservatively. It is associated with avulsion fracture coronoid process of ulna.

The markedly displaced posterior elbow fat pad (posterior far pad sign) reflects the presence of marked elbow joint effusion. Also, the anterior fat pad is displaced anteriorly and not parallel to humeral shaft (anterior fat pad / sail sign).
