Radial head fracture - type I

Fall from a height of 3 meters on an abducted arm.

Patient Data

Age: 35 years
Gender: Male

A non-displaced radial head fracture involving the anterolateral aspect of the joint surface with joint effusion. No intraarticular bony fragment is seen. No associated bone injuries are seen.

Case Discussion

A case of radial head fracture type I according to Mason classification. CT is superior to plain radiographs in the detection of the fracture gap and the presence of an intraarticular bony fragment.
