Case contributed by Dr Garth Kruger

Adult who had a normal breast exam. Mammogram routine screening study.

Patient Data

The typical appearance of a radial scar centrally in the right breast. The long slender runners and the relatively lucent centre. Very good representative example.

The findings of a radial scar. Contrast this with the appearance of infiltrating ductal carcinomas on this site.
