Identify the foreign body?

Brachytherapy seed migration in the posterior aspect of the right lower lobe. One-year chest x-ray follow-up should be obtained to evaluate for malignancy.

Case Discussion

A case of a radiation seed embolus to the lung. Radiation seed migration can cause radiation pneumonitis initially and later on predispose to lung cancer.

 

He is a male and and had been treated for prostate cancer with brachytherapy.
