The pituitary is normal in size and signal intensity. The infundibulum is midline.
There is a 7 x 12 mm sharply circumscribed high T2 signal region in the anterior pituitary gland on the right side likely representing a Rathke cleft cyst.
Optic chiasm, cavernous sinuses, and suprasellar region appear unremarkable.
The remainder of the imaged brain appears unremarkable.
Rathke cleft cysts are common and usually are incidental asymptomatic findings.
