Case Discussion

Rectal cancer, although sharing many of the features of generic colorectal carcinoma (CRC), has some features that make it unique. These are predominantly related to it's anatomical location which has implications both in preoperative imaging assessment and surgical technique.

Histopathologic examination confirmed adenocarcinoma.
