Rectus haematoma

Presentation

This lady presented with acute abdominal pain. Her examination was indeterminate and after inital investigation, she proceeded to CT abdomen.

Age: Elderly
Gender: Female
Modality: CT

An ill-defined mass is present involving the rectus muscles on the right. There is significant surrounding stranding. Features are in keeping with a rectus haematoma, and the patient was on Warfarin.
