No oral or IV contrast as patient is in renal failure.
Hematoma containing a fluid-fluid level indicating liquid blood - note gas in the subcutaneous fat of the right abdominal wall due to subcutaneous Fragmin injections (arrow).
Case Discussion
In virtually all cases of this condition, there is use of an anticoagulant and the hematomas can become extremely large.
