This patient was referred for evaluation of an upper abdominal mass. His ultrasonogram revealed a large infected pseudocyst of the pancreas, measuring 13 x 14 cm. He underwent cysto- gastrotomy. Two months later he came back for similar complaints. Repeat ultrasound confirmed the presence of large infected pseudocyst of pancreas.
MRI was done which confirmed the recurrent pseudocyst of pancreas.
This case is presented to make radiologists be aware that such recurrent pseudopancreatic cysts can occur. The cause of recurrence is still not clear
