Patient Data

Age: 35 years
Gender: Male

Lateral calcaneal view

x-ray

Large area of erosion at the posterior calcaneus with involvement of Achilles tendon attachment. Mild reactive sclerosis at the anterior margin of erosion.

A small spur along the plantar aspect of calcaneus. Bone density preserved. No joint effusion.

Reactive arthritis with retrocalcaneal bursa erosive disease.
