CT scan demonstrates diffuse nodular airways thickening, calcified in some areas.
Tracheal cartilages are C-shaped. The posterior wall lacks cartilage (also known as the tracheal diaphragm). In this patient, the tracheal cartilages are slightly thickened and there is mild tracheal narrowing.
RML and lingula demonstrate atelectasis, possibly related to airways narrowing.
Unable to appreciate the CT findings on CXR. It was essentially normal.
