Post operative non contrast CT brain with demonstrate right cerebellar hemisphere hemorrhage with minimal surrounding edema and mass effect. Sagittal bone window demonstrate the midline aneurysm clip.
Remote cerebellar hemorrhage is a recognized complication of supratentorial craniotomy for various reasons including surgical clipping of aneurysm. The hemorrhage is usually small in size without significant mass thus self limiting. Larger hemorrhage with compression of the fourth ventricle may require intervention. Etiological factors such as hypertension, anticoagulation or other have not been fully elucidated.
