Renal artery aneurysm

Patient submitted to a CT scan for oncologic follow up. Incidental finding.

Patient Data

Age: 61
Gender: Female

There is a saccular aneurysm observed on left renal artery. 

DSA (angiography)

The study shows a saccular dilatation of the left renal artery with a maximum diameter of 1.3 cm and light lap of 1 cm.

Case Discussion

Renal artery aneurysms are considered the second most common visceral aneurysm (15-22%).
