Renal artery stenosis and renal infarction

Patient was admitted to the ER with malignant hypertension.

Patient Data

Age: 60
Gender: Female
DSA (angiography)

Bilateral renal artery stenosis.

Balloon-expanding stents opening up both arteries.

Renal artery stenosis on both sides. Left kidney is necrotic due to thrombo-embolism. Notice also the subtotal stenosis of the coeliac artery.
