Renal cell carcinoma

Diagnosis almost certain

Presentation

Hematuria and left-sided intermittent vague flank pain.

Patient Data

Age: 35 years
Gender: Female
ct

A solid-cystic mass lesion axial width up to 60 x 35 mm and height up to 70 mm in left kidney middle to lower pole bulged within the related perirenal fat, renal sinus, and pyelocaliceal system is seen. Large subserosal myoma up  70 mm in uterus fundus and body margin middle to the right side and with cystic degenerative change is also seen. No obvious solid organ metastasis and the metastatic lymph node are seen. Renal vein and IVC are unremarkable.

Case Discussion

The case illustrates the non-contrast and contrast-enhanced MDCT features of pathology-proved  renal cell carcinoma. Management of the tumor is based on renal cell carcinoma TNM staging.
