A large exophytic mass lesion is noted originating from the lower pole of the left kidney. It shows heterogeneous post-contrast enhancement on the arterial phase with central less enhancing core reflecting partial central necrosis. Features are suggestive of renal cell cancer (RCC).

Case Discussion

Characteristic appearance of renal cell cancer (RCC) on the arterial phase. In this case, it has a polar location and partially exophytic with no invasion to the pelvicalyceal system and less probability of vascular invasion. Partial renal resection could be a suitable surgical option.
