Renal cell carcinoma

Renal mass seen on US, hematuria.

Patient Data

Age: 85
Gender: Female

CT scan shows a large heterogeneous mass in the left kidney that compromises the entire kidney. This mass enhanced with the use of contrast in the arterial phase. Lymphadenopathy in the left renal hilum.

Metastatic lesions in both lungs.

Case Discussion

This case demonstrates a renal mass with metastatic involvement, given the characteristics is most likely to be a renal cell carcinoma.
