Presentation

Left flank pain and hematuria.

Patient Data

Age: 60 years
Gender: Female

An isodense mass was seen in lower pole of left kidney. After IV contrast media, its peripheral portions enhance considerably, but its central portions remain unenhanced. In addition, it shows rapid washout on delayed phase images.

Left renal mass ; pathology proven clear cell renal cell carcinoma which is is the most common type of renal cell carcinoma
No vascular involvement, no regional lymphadenopathy, and no metastasis.
