An 80 mm well-defined exophytic cystic mass is seen at the lower pole of the left kidney, which contains a few septal coarse calcified foci. After contrast media administration, the mass shows thick irregular wall enhancement with eccentric soft tissue components. (Bosniak class IV)
There is no sign of vascular extension or adjacent organ invasion.
Several cortical and parapelvic cysts are also observed.
Case Discussion
Most of the Bosniak class VI lesions are malignant and need surgical resection.
