The right kidney is ectopic and located in the midline pelvis. A 70mm partially exophytic cortical cyst is noted in the upper pole of the right ectopic kidney that contains peripheral calcification foci and a few smooth minimally thickened enhancing septa (Bosniak class IIF).
Case Discussion
One of the main features of Bosniak class IIF lesions on post-contrast CTscan or MR images is smooth minimally thickened (3 mm) enhancing wall or few septa, without criteria for Bosniak III or IV lesions.
