Renal hydatid cyst
A 70-year-old female presented with abdominal pain. She underwent an abdomen - pelvic sonography (not shown). There were two cystic lesions in the left kidney and right lobe of the liver. CT scan was performed for further evaluation.

Unenhaced CT scan shows a large cystic lesion associated with thick wall, internal septations and higher internal density on the left kidney. There is also another cystic lesion on the posterior segments of the right lobe of the liver.

The crumpled membrane within the cyst makes a renal hydatid most likely. Urine analysis was clear. Serologically proven as hydatid disease.
