Abdominal pain and fullness. Recent shortness of breath.

Patient Data

Age: 50 years
Gender: Female

  • large matted groups of retro-peritoneal lymph nodes that encase the major vessels, anteriorly displacing the aorta and extending into the left perinephric compartment to encase the kidney as well

  • multiple pathological mesenteric lymph nodes

  • bilateral pleural effusions

  • cystic lesion at the tail of the pancreas

One of the common presentations of renal involvement with lymphoma is invasion from the retro-peritoneal nodal mass as demonstrated in this case.
