Renal mass with cardiac chamber invasion

Sonography revealed a large mass replacing left kidney

Patient Data

Age: 65
Gender: Female

A large solid mass lesion is seen replacing left kidney, with left renal vein and IVC invasion, with tumour thrombus extending into right hear chambers.

Case Discussion

As it is an inoperable mass, resection was not contemplated. Possibility of renal cell carcinoma vs clear cell sarcoma is being considered.
