  • vertebral endplate erosions
  • extensive vascular calcifications
  • soft tissue calcifications
  • rib fractures
  • accelerated costal cartilage calcification
  • coarsened vertebral trabeculae

Case Discussion

CT scan of the chest demonstrates the typical changes of the bone in chronic renal failure or what is known as renal osteodystrophy.
