Patient with end stage renal disease complains from generalised bone ache.
Patient Data
Evidence of demineralisation and osteopenia manifested as thinning of cortices and trabeculae. Relatively sclerosed superior and inferior vertebral end plates of visualised vertebrae (like a rugger jersey spine). A well defined lucent lytic lesion is seen within the right aspect of symphysis may attributed to osseous changes in chronic renal failure owing to secondary hyperparathyroidism. The small lytic lesion is considered as brown tumour.Atheromatous calcification of the aorta and its main branches. Previous cholecystectomy.
