Renal pelvis calculus

A large calculus with coronal height up to 14 mm in left kidney pelvis with upstream hydronephrosis and enlarged kidney is seen.
A calculus up to 2 mm in right kidney upper pole and another calculus up to 1-1.5 mm in left kidney middle pole calyx are also seen.
Small calcified focus on the right side of the prostate and distended bladder are seen.
Case Discussion
The case illustrates the non-contrast MDCT features of the renal pelvis calculus with upstream hydronephrosis which in chronic and recurrent cases can lead to chronic kidney disease.
