Presentation

Incidental sonographic finding in a patient with known allergy to iodinated contrast.

Patient Data

Age: 55 years
Gender: Male

Soft tissue mass confined within the right renal pelvis demonstrates low signal on T1 and T2 sequences and causing dilatation of the renal pelvis. This lesion enhances in the post gadolinium acquisitions.

CT scan was done without intravenous contrast in view of the patient's allergy status. No hyperattenuations to suggest calcifications or stones.
