Presentation
The patient concerned about right cavitary kidney lesion, So IVU was done upon her physician request.
Patient Data
There is a distortion in the lower calyceal group of the right kidney and upward deviation of the renal pelvis by a barely seen radiolucent round structure with no calyceal dilatation.
Normal excretion of both kidneys with no hydronephrosis.
The urinary bladder appears smooth in outline.
Complimentary right renal ultrasound is done and shows a well defined anechoic round lesion with no internal vascularity or calcification in the renal sinus of the right kidney without hydronephrosis.
Case Discussion
The renal cyst usually evaluated by ultrasound and enhanced CT scan, however, it can be suspected by Intravenous urography.
