Presentation

Low back pain for 3 months radiating to left lower limbs, with mild numbness.

Patient Data

Age: 50 years
Gender: Male
x-ray

17 x 8 mm calcified shadow is noted compatible with the left lower renal pole.

Mildly lumbar spine osteophytosis with decreased posteriorly intervertebral disk space at the L5_S1 level.

ultrasound

Both longitudinal and transverse scans show renal stone in the left lower calyx 

No apparent renal dilation is noted 

Mild prostatomegaly is noted 

Case Discussion

This patient complained of low back pain, and an accidental left renal stone was noted, which was proved by KUB and ultrasound. He also has mild prostatomegaly.
