Repaired aortic coarctation

- Unusual appearance of the left 5th rib with angulation and flattening.
- Unfolding and tortuosity of the aorta with loss of aortic knob.
Case Discussion
Further research identified that this patient had a repaired coarctation of the aorta. Note, there is no rib notching or a figure 3 sign due to surgical repair of the coarctation.
