Presentation

Patient presented with leucokoria of the left eye. No family history of previous retinoblastoma.

Patient Data

Age: 22 months
Gender: Male

Single image of axial CT Orbits post contrast.

There is a mixed solid calcific mass in the posterior chamber of the left eyeball.The soft tissue component demonstrates enhancement. It appears confined within eyeball. No definite extension identified in the retro orbital space.

The right orbit is normal.

Case Discussion

Retinoblastoma is the commonest malignant intraocular childhood tumor. 95 % occur before the age of 5 years. The average age at the time of diagnosis is 13 months.
