Retrocalcaneal bursitis

- Achilles tendon - Intact. Diffuse thickening, mild hypoechoic echopattern and hypervascularity in the distal tendon.
- Retrocalcaneal bursa - Anechoic fluid ( 17 x 6 x 6 mm ) present
- Retroachilles bursa - No fluid
- Retrocalcaneal fat pad - Increased echogenicity and vascularity.
- Asymptomatic side shows normal findings.
Case Discussion
Ultrasound findings of distal Achilles mild tendinosis, retrocalcaneal bursitis, and retrocalcaneal fat pad inflammation.
