Incidental finding of a Reveal LINQ ICM (insertable cardiac monitor) during left shoulder series for left shoulder pain.
Case Discussion
The patient presented with left shoulder and left knee pain.
Request for left shoulder plain films and left knee MRI.
Incidental finding of a Reveal LINQ ICM, which is MRI compatible (MRI safe), so the patient was able to undergo MRI left knee without any adverse events.
Always be aware of new cardiac monitoring and defibrillation devices on the market and their MRI compatibility.
