Diffuse hypoattenuation of the hepatic parenchyma due to hepatic steatosis. The hepatic vessels appear hyperattenuating on this non-contrast study, but they are actually normal. This is an apparent 'reversal' of the normal attenuation relationship between the hepatic parenchyma and the hepatic vessels.
