Reverse cementless shoulder prosthesis. Correct position of the glenosphere and peg. The distal end of the prosthetic stem is deviated in varus and conflicts with the cortical bone.
Case Discussion
The metal peg must be fixed as low as possible to avoid scapular notching from polyethylene wear of the humeral cup. By reducing the PGRD (Peg Glenoid Rim Distance) or the distance between the central peg and the inferior glenoid rim (target position 12 mm above the inferior glenoid rim), should reduce impingement and notching and may improve clinical success.
