Patient Data

Age: 40-year-old
Gender: Male
x-ray

X-ray is unremarkable. 

mri

Diffuse synovial thickening/hypertrophy (synovial pannus) throughout the wrist joint associated with joint effusion. 

Extension of the synovitis into some of the extensor tendon sheaths. 

Patchy marrow edema signal and bony erosive & subcortical pseudocystic changes of the carpal bones, bases of metacarpal bones and to less extent the distal radius.
