Diagnosis almost certain

Presentation

Elbow pain and swelling.

Patient Data

Age: 20 years
Gender: Female
mri

Marked joint effusion and synovial proliferation with multiple foci of internal debris (rice body formation) and capsular distention are seen.

Subchondral edematous changes are seen at the medial and lateral condyles of the humerus, radial head and olecranon process.

Subchondral cystic changes also are seen at the olecranon process.

Cartilage thining and fraying is noted at the radial head and olecranon process.

Abnormal intrasubstance increased signal also is seen along the course of the extensor and supinator tendons related to tendinosis.
