Long-standing foot pain.

Patient Data

Age: 65
Gender: Male

Diffuse bony osteopenia and marginal erosions consistent with the clinical diagnosis of rheumatoid arthritis.No definite bone destruction to suggest presence of osteomyelitis.

Case Discussion

This patient has a known diagnosis of rheumatoid arthritis. Males are less commonly affected than females, with peak rates of diagnosis in the 4th and 5th decades.
