Presentation

Bilateral hand deformity.

Patient Data

Age: 65 years
Gender: Female

Severe deformity due to erosive subluxation of the metacarpophalangeal and interphalangeal joints accompanied by carpal crowding and erosive degeneration in carpometacarpal and radiocarpal joints. The deformation and erosion are also observed in the distal ulna. Note also periarticular osteopenia.
