Presentation

Sudden onset shoulder pain. ?pneumothorax

Patient Data

Age: 12 years
Gender: Male
x-ray

Lungs are well expanded and clear. No pneumothorax. Lucency on the undersurface of the right medial clavicle probably represents a large rhomboid fossa. CT to check.

CT confirms bilateral rhomboid fossa in the medial clavicles. Larger on the right.
