No acute fracture or traumatic malalignment identified. Prominent rhomboid fossa at the medial clavicle (normal variant).
Case Discussion
The rhomboid fossa is a concave undersurface depression at the medial clavicle, thought to be related to pressure effects of the costoclavicular ligament. This anatomical variant is more commonly unilateral as dominant handedness is thought to play a role in its development. It should not be confused for a bone lesion.
