Lung fields clear.

Case Discussion

Rib synostoses are mostly asymptomatic and without any significant effects. Hence, it is only discovered incidentally. However, in some cases, there may be localized restriction of respiratory movements and/or pain, tenderness etc.

Clear lung fields on a chest xray does not exclude mild disease in the context of covid.
