Axial T1 in-phase
Small (~1cm), fat containing mass in the right adrenal with minimal enhancement.
Case Discussion
Conn adenomas are difficult to detect since they are usually small but have identical imaging characteristics to other cortical adenomas of the adrenal albeit they are functioning. The presence of intravoxel fat is crucial (loss of T1 signal on the out of phase sequence) for the diagnosis. Margins are smooth and enhancement is minimal.
