The questionable mass lesion seen on chest x-ray corresponds to a right sided aortic arch and a small aortic diverticulum at the junction of the arch and descending aorta. The right sided arch and the left brachiocephalic artery are encircling the trachea and causing mild mass effect with tracheal narrowing and a transverse diameter of 8mm. This is not a complete ring however.
