Very large, lobulated enhancing right atrial mass which extends into the pericardial space. Large pericardial effusion. Subtle rounded lesion in hepatic segment 4A.
Case Discussion
Tragic case of a pathologically proven right atrial angiosarcoma in a young patient, resulting in a malignant pericardial effusion. Although relatively subtle, a sizable portion of the mass extends beyond the right atrial border and into the pericardial space.
