Right big toe fracture

Presentation

the patient hit his foot with stone object at work, on examination: there is pain and swelling over right great toe, no open injury or deformity.

Patient Data

Age: 35 years
Gender: Male
x-ray

X-ray shows comminuted fracture at the proximal phalanx of the right big toe, with interphalangeal joint intra-articular extension. 

Case Discussion

The patient was not wearing his PPE at the time of injury.
